There are several vacancies for the 2012 season, especially in the Oboe, Percussion, Clarinet, French Horn, Trumpet and Tuba sections. The position of Principal Trombone and a position in First Clarinet section are available by audition.  New players on any band instrument are always welcome and are encouraged to come along and try us out. Other than for Principal positions there is no audition.  We have some instruments available for hire if required.

No audition is necessary, but a proficiency of about level 5 or above is required to adequately perform our repertoire.  We play a wide range of repertoire mainly at A and B grade level.
